During July households in Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde will be receiving a Household Enquiry Form asking residents to check whether the information that appears on the electoral register for those living at their address is correct as part of RVJB’s annual voter registration canvass.
The aim of the form is to ensure that the electoral register is up to date and to identify any residents who are not registered so that they can be encouraged to do so. It is important that residents respond to these forms whether there are any changes or not.
Voter engagement is vital to the success of this year’s electoral canvass and through the provision of an automated service, residents will be able to make a return via the internet or telephone (Freephone) 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The automated service link is:

The voting age for Scottish Elections has been permanently lowered to 16 so residents who will be aged 15 years or older by 30 November 2017 should be added to the form so that they appear on the register of electors when they become old enough to vote.
